The Sophie Club
What is the Sophie Club?
Since 2005, The Sophie Club is a privileged convention around Thales Soldier Optronics offer, composed of more than 500 members, military users, customers and partners of Thales optronics solutions, from around 30 countries.
The Sophie Users’ Club was the first optronics users community which gave the opportunity for participants to try out brand new optronics devices and give their feedback on Thales optronics solutions & innovations.
What is the Sophie Club Community?
All users and customers of Thales optronics products and services including dismounted soldiers, recce, fire support and intelligence, as well as Special Forces and logistics support professionals.
Why the Sophie Club?
Historically, the Sophie Club© was launched by Thales to enable operational end-users to test the portable cameras in the SOPHIE family.
The SOPHIE family of Hand-Held Thermal Imagers (HHTI)– a reference for 20 years, sold all over the world, with more than 15,000 imagers in operation in more than 55 countries.
Sophie Club events: The Sophie TOUR
Since 2021, Thales Sophie Club’s team has been travelling all around the world to visit the Sophie Users Community with dedicated events:
- Even more operational demonstrations with a user’s centric approach
- Focus on customers specific needs according to the destination
- Present the entire soldier optronics suite including also UAS & Loitering Munition
